Today, during the FAI Annual Seminar 2025 in New Delhi, I had the opportunity to hold a comprehensive and constructive meeting with IFFCO’s Marketing Team. Sh. Rakesh Kapur, Jt. MD, IFFCO, Sh. Yogendra Kumar, Marketing Director, IFFCO, Sh. A K Sharma, Director, Technical, IFFCO, All State Marketing Managers, along with senior officials from our Central Marketing Office, were present for this important interaction.

At IFFCO, our core commitment is to ensure that every discussion and every decision is centred around enhancing services to our farmers. In this spirit, I held an in-depth deliberations on the field performance of IFFCO Nano Fertilisers, their growing impact, and the overall response from farmers across different states.

We also reviewed the challenges and feedback received from the ground. I emphasised that while Nano Fertilisers are transforming Indian agriculture, it is equally important that we intensify our outreach and education efforts. Farmers must be guided more effectively on the correct usage, application techniques, and long-term benefits of these innovative products.

I encouraged the entire marketing team to strengthen their connect with farmers and cooperatives, ensuring that knowledge, technology, and service continue to reach every village with sincerity and passion. My best wishes to entire marketing team.

The journey began in the year 2000, when the Government of India opened the insurance sector. This landmark step taken in partnership with Japan’s esteemed Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company Ltd. marked not merely the start of a business venture, but the beginning of a lasting legacy. This joint venture united the strengths of two distinguished institutions: Tokio Marine’s global expertise and IFFCO’s deep-rooted values of service, trust, and unwavering commitment to farmers and cooperatives. Together, we built an organisation that placed the well-being of rural India at its core.

As we celebrate 25 years of trust, protection, and steadfast support for India and its farmers, let us cherish this proud legacy and look forward to an even brighter future.

Today, I was invited to the Board Meeting of Jordan Phosphate Mining Company (JPMC) at its office in Amman, Jordan, Chaired by Dr. Mohammad K. Thneibat, Chairman, JPMC & JIFCO. This was my maiden presence with JPMC Board after assuming charge as Managing Director, IFFCO. The JPMC board also bid farewell and thanked Dr. U. S. Awasthi, Former MD, IFFCO.

Another proud moment for IFFCO as Shri R. P. Singh @Rpsingh5153P, Director-HR & Legal, IFFCO is appointed as members of the ICA Cooperative Law Committee (CLC) for the period of 4 years till 2028. This global committee is to give independent advice to the Alliance on co- operative law, broadly defined to include all legal rules that shape the co-operative institution and regulate its operations.
