What I think the Democrats missed was this: 62% of jobs in America come from small businesses, those first, and second-generation family-run operations with 5 to 500 employees. They’re the backbone of our economy, and they’re far from clueless. They know exactly what a jump from a 21% to 28% corporate tax rate means because they’re the ones who pay it.
Now, the idea of taxing unrealized capital gains? That sent a shockwave through these communities. I invest in these people. I advocate for them. For small business owners, the thought of the government taking a cut before they’ve even made a dime? That’s not the American Dream, that’s a nightmare. It’s un-American.
This really struck a nerve with them, and it’s no wonder that pushback was fierce.
Only time you guys mentioned his name was when announcing denial of his appeal into the league and when he ultimately passed on.
A failure by Major League Baseball as a whole. Save your condolences — you guys are phonies
Some days are just f*cking hard.
& Nobody knows
Or
Nobody cares
Either way…the reward for a hard day isn’t applause - it’s confidence gained by getting through it like a champ.
You are your own compass. And, if you don't make decisions about the direction of your life, somebody else will make those decisions for you—whether you agree with them or not. Then, one day, you'll wake up, look around, and wonder how you became so lost.
Beginning in 2023 Colorado legislature banned plastic bags at groceries. I now buy bags I don’t know what are made of for 78 cents. I’ve accumulated 153 in back of my car. I never remember them when I go into grocery. And I don’t know what to do with the bags to save the world.

John Kerry.
Read it as many times as you need to realize they think you are that stupid.
