Dear @airindia

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the inconvenience and distress I faced during my recent travel with Air India on 6th October 2025. My booking was from Chandigarh to Dubai via Delhi. Due to a delay in the Chandigarh to Delhi flight, I missed my connecting flight from Delhi to Dubai.

Although your ground staff rebooked me on a flight the next day and arranged accommodation, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I requested the ground staff to provide me lounge access instead of the hotel, but they refused that as well.

I am outlining the issues below:

1. Unacceptable Behavior by Reservation Counter Staff

At Delhi airport, when I approached the reservation counter for assistance after the missed flight, I was shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the ground staff present there.

They were unhelpful, impolite, and showed no empathy for the situation.

Instead of calmly explaining the next steps, they spoke in an arrogant and dismissive tone.

As a passenger already dealing with a missed flight and travel disruption, this behavior only added to my stress and frustration.

2. Low-Quality Hotel Accommodation

I was provided a hotel which was far below acceptable standards. It seemed like a 1-star or 2-star property, definitely not suitable for international transit passengers.

No hot water, no basic toiletries (not even a toothbrush).

The hotel was unclean and noisy, making it impossible to rest.

I reached the hotel at 9:30 PM, but the hotel manager woke me up at 12:30 AM asking me to check out and leave.

I was sent to the airport in a shared cab at 1:00 AM, although my flight was at 6:30 AM. The cab was in poor condition, dirty, and uncomfortable.

3. Customs Issue at the Airport

When I tried to proceed through customs (as directed by your check-in counter), I was told that my name was not on the list. This again caused unnecessary delay and confusion.

4. Mental and Physical Stress

The entire experience — from the flight delay, missed connection, rude staff behavior, inadequate accommodation, sleepless night, and poor coordination — caused me significant stress, discomfort, and inconvenience.

My Request:
Considering the above issues, I am requesting:

Full refund of my ticket fare.

Compensation for the mental, physical, and emotional distress caused.

A Dera Sacha Sauda volunteer from Karnal (Haryana) displayed incredible compassion by rescuing an injured dog after an accident. Following the teachings of Saint Dr. MSG Insan, the volunteer rushed the dog to the hospital and ensured it received the necessary medical treatment, ultimately saving its life. 🐾 This act of kindness reflects our responsibility to care for all living beings.
