I'm gonna make a futile attempt at a Destiel fic rec list because why not:
(chances of my actually filling this are pretty slim because I'm such a lazy person it's insane)
Agree and I’m saying that as someone who loves these performances and characters. Feel like season 1 would have been way more suited. Much of the cast did not get enough material in s2 for this
Im a fan of all of their performances and characters but there are a lot of people on here that shouldn’t be….
We’re in this “let’s nominate actors for their roles in celebrated streaming shows” era instead of “let’s nominate the best performances”

we don’t talk enough about how important derek’s backstory is. giving a character who’s seen as a confident, strong ladies man a history of childhood sa in a 2000s tv show was crucial representation for male survivors. i hold you very close to my heart derek morgan.
I think you’ll find yourself far more receptive to #Elle if you think of it as its own project rather than a prequel to Legally Blonde. Lexi Minetree is fantastic and genuinely captures the essence of Elle Woods perfectly but works as her own character as well
Palestinian goalkeeper Salim Al-Ashqar has been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza.
He leaves behind his wife of 5 months who is expecting their first child.
Legit counting down the days until this comes out. Been going through some shitty times and this just seems like such a nice breath of fresh air. Just turn of my brain and enjoy
I have complex feelings about #Elle. My spoiler free thoughts:
Lexi Minetree is astounding as a young Reese Witherspoon. She is a true force of nature. The acting in general is overall superb, with June Diane Raphael stealing every scene she’s in as Elle’s mom. The show is a funny, quirky, surprisingly heartfelt teen comedy, filled with ‘90s and #LegallyBlonde in-jokes so niche I question if younger audiences will catch them all — although they don’t need to in order to enjoy the ride.
Unsurprisingly, where the show gets tripped up is making it seamlessly work with the narrative and arc of the OG movies. Not as much as I expected, but if that is a dealbreaker for you, you will find the inconsistencies. If you can let go from that, you’ll enjoy it more, but it’s understandable if you can’t. There are also certain characters begging to be more than simple plot devices, but others are given beautiful focus, particularly in the friendships.
Overall, I was surprised by how much fun I had with this show, and how much I’m looking forward to continuing this story. It’s very clear how much love and care was put into preserving this franchise, and this beloved character, even if I walked away with questions.
I knew this was gonna happen when it didn’t get an immediate renewal cuz that’s how it is now but this fucking sucks.
This was actually a really good show and I loved the setting and characters
I cannot believe this has all happened from one tweet but, by some miracle and some hard work over the past 24 hours, Hedgehog Ties will be available for purchase once again!
After quite a few emails and telephone calls to the wonderful staff of the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and of Ryder and Amies in Cambridge, I've organised a new production of a Navy Silk Hedgehog Tie, the first in over thirty years!
Ties will cost £45 each with £10 of that £45 going directly towards the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (I do not receive a single penny from the sale of these ties, £35 is purely the cost of production + materials per tie)
Pre-orders will be open for two weeks and, afterwards, the ties will go to production! They should take approx. 10 weeks to be completed.

EXCLUSIVE: ‘The Night Agent’ will give fans what they want before calling it a day — Peter Sutherland and Rose Larkin together again.
Luciane Buchanan, who played Peter’s (Gabriel Basso) charge-turned-partner and love interest Rose in the first two seasons of the Netflix action drama, will reprise her role in the series’ upcoming fourth and final season, Deadline has learned.

My hot take is that the call dean scene in the books made zero sense to me. The emotional reaction was wayyy too high compared to the actual situation.
