@theficouple The states with most affordable childcare all have a lower GDP per capita than the states with the least affordable childcare. Makes sense that wealthier states pay more than less wealthy states.
@LumberTrading@FinPhilosopher Some people like living in apartments and other MFs. Usually people that want nothing to do with repairs and maintenance. Also, it’s usually cheaper. Economies of scale applied to housing.
@seandsweeney I suffer a similar affliction. Usually I spend more money and take more time to complete a property than I NEED to. While I keep my properties for the long term and I’m very proud of the results, I could have done more of them if I was less meticulous.
@YPersisted @maphumanintent Rail is the cheapest mode of transportation over land. The amount of energy required is much more efficient than cars or airplanes. The only cheaper option is ships but that requires navegable waters.
@seandsweeney I had to stop playing basketball, soccer and skiing after two ACL/Meniscus surgeries. Like someone told me, they don’t make replacement parts as good as new. I’ve found pickleball to be a lot of fun, good exercise and easy enough on the knees. Good luck!
@N8RealEstate@Fire5280 If you incur a liability in one of the LLCs and you pierce the veil a court could have the other LLC respond to claims. Basically lose the LL (limited liability) in LLC.
@aussieflya@JeremyGlantz Oh yeah, it’s a common occurrence. Most examples I’ve heard seem to be lonely people losing everything just before they lose hope of finding love/company. Super sad.
@ContrarianSaver This is one of the reasons why I like owning tangible investments like real estate. Sometimes you want to see and feel your investments. An operating business would be another example.
@FinPhilosopher I’m no health nut (weak spot for junk) but I do recognize your groceries as being heavy on sugars and preservatives. Most healthy foods are perishables. Red meats should be sparse. Yogurts are desserts clothed as healthy diet. Breads and bagels should be from sprouted grain.
@moseskagan@jdklein33@REconveneLA I’m in that range. I’ve always thought Reconvene LA was too big for me since I’ve only ever invested my own capital combined with bank lending.
@JoelleMonique good job on #FakeDoctorsRealFriends. I like the new “My” series you’re making. It’s a good segway to what you can do after the series rewatch. I hope you continue, it’s a lot of fun to listen to.
