India has too many Baba worshipping Sattvik dehatis.
North India in particular has become a society where ethics & morality are judged by diet ; basic decency is frowned upon as weakness ; boorishness is celebrated ; being low cunning is sign of smartness & pragmatism.
@ss_chakrabarti Bengalis do eat fish and mutton but we also eat vegetables on a daily basis. Also, we do not take non-veg items to school for tiffin.
Stop Egg Imposition.
People can not understand the actual issue--
This is not about protein--
This BENGAL EGG DEBATE is about culture.
Bengalis voted for BJP but they are always very sensetive about two things
1. Caste Politics
2. Veg imposition
And BJP is responsible for these two things by some of their unnecessary acts in other states..
Forget what TMC and LEFT say,
Thoughuot the day I talked with many BJP supporters,
they all are unhappy with this decision.
Personally i have no problem if ISCON serves meal but i request Suvendu Adhikari t add an egg from the school kitchen..
with meal or before or after meal..
CPI(M) can never be the benchmark. The Left Front govt was terrible.
But every bad decision made by the BJP cannot be defended by "whataboutery" & rhetoric like "what did CPI(M) do" !
BJP was voted for better governance, not marginal improvements.

Now those same Muslims are “Islamizing” the Bengali language. That is why the use of words like “Alhamdulillah” or even words like “pani” has increased significantly in Bengali dictionary. We must remember that it was the Muslims of East Bengal who fought for the language against the Pakistanis.
However, I believe, that was not out of love for the Bengali language itself - rather, it was due to difficulties in government jobs and administration under Pakistan.
I believe the problem is not language or religion. The problem is with those who believe in Islamic ideology. In Bangladesh, you will find many Muslims who have no issue with the Bengali language, but are extremely conservative Muslims. At the same time, you will also find Muslims who fully believe in an Islamic ummah and hate the Bengali language.
So the problem lies in Islamic ideology specifically, not in language or religion in general.
