@BBCMorningLive not all symptoms present every time! I had meningitis as adult; rash and sore throat/cold symptoms. Emergency GP gave antibiotics; No headache no problem with light. 2days later saw own GP - sent to hospital by which time almost unable to walk - joints so stiff.

@VEverettmfl @joedale It always comes back to curriculum time. 3hours a fortnight is useless. 30 mins every day? Much better. School structures do not cope with this, plus research (. Can't remember whose) showed maths and langs learning much better with morning lessons

Primary languages? Private ed has always allocated more time to mfl; 3hours/fortnight totally insufficient. Motivation can't increase if repeating basics every week. Content can only be developed if pupils have vocabulary & structures to cope. Curriculum time under pressure.
