The pediatric department at Nasser Hospital requested our help!! Support: https://t.co/mykxffL3Rr
There is a huge influx of patients at the hospital in Khan Younis due to displacements from the North and the number of malnourished and sick babies being born daily. In a 24 hour period, the pediatric ward had 1,000 patients visit with is 10x the usual number. Mothers, babies, children are sprawled out on the hospital floor because of the overcrowding.
The Sameer Project responded by delivering 30 mattresses so that the huge number of cases have somewhere to rest and recover. Each mattress cost $75, with the total coming to $2,239 after 11% commission.
We are always glad to be able to support the hospitals that are working so hard to take care of patients. Please donate to our Medical Campaign to help us do so: https://t.co/mykxffL3Rr

The r word can't be reclaimed because y'all don't reclaim it, y'all use it as it always has been used. I don't see how an autistic person using that word towards someone else as an INSULT is revolutionary. You just want to be edgy and use your neurodivergence as a shield 🤷
I see a lot of people saying the reason why many fics don't feature black characters is because the media they consume don't have a lot of black characters, but if we look at sinners, a movie with a majority black cast, remmick (white) has the most amount of fics out of anyone...
Coming back to this say to all yall telling black fans to create more in regards to fandom, whilst ignoring the obvious bias towards white characters. Sinners, a movie about BLACK PEOPLE and THEIR STRUGGLES, HAS MOST OF ITS FANFIC CENTERED ON THE WHITE COLONIZING VILLAIN
Y’all do realize saying that “create more” in relation to people who don’t care to engage with content surrounding women or black people isnt gonna solve the base issue that is misogyny and racism right?
