@maruushae Keep a snapshot every minute, save the delta book update and rebuild your full orderbook using snapshot and delta book update if you want everything without much storage
@LilQwantXBT I totally get what you mean, I always feel like people are going to judge me or that no one is interested in what I would post
Plus I’m scared to just say wrong things (which is fine).
I guess it’s because I respected too many anon who I realized where larpers when they posted
@BeatzXBT Thanks for showing to us your transformation and for open sourcing part of your system, it really helped me starting back then and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I'am sure you will find a new edge in no time
@BeatzXBT@KalindroDB @alpha__zen @idro___ It seems they are delayed by more than a block AND they also come at the end of each block after ALO and CANCEL
@LilQwantXBT Well yes co locating is the first easy step, but then you have plenty of way to optimize it I guess that depend on the exchange you trade on.
But definitely having a low and consistent t2t is a must, just sometimes I feel like it's overkill when I wait 100ms to send an order
@mattomattik @LGdanuT You do realize that if your limit order get filled it means someone crossed the spread, and if that someone is crossing the spread there is a reason, right ? You end up having worst fills than doing taker orders
@bennpeifert Why isn’t derivatives market a zero sum game ?
I mean ultimately, your pnl on any products has to be the opposite of someone else right (discarding brokers fees), but still everyone make money at the same time and lose money at the same time.
