Lookup and understand the fibre situation of an address within the UK, including multiple service provider checks, mobile data coverage, and planned roadworks.
We're constantly looking to expand our coverage and are always more than willing to work with providers to integrate them with https://t.co/DJtS2CE1pS.
We process tens of thousands of lookups every month. Reach out to us and let's work together!

In July we saw a 4% increase in lookups from June 📈
Our lookup numbers are fairly stable at the moment. This increase can almost entirely be accounted for by the longer month.
A week ago we rewrote the way we determine signal strength for cell providers to be much more robust 📶
We now have much more control over the strength logic and will continue to tweak it to make them as accurate as possible.
If anything seems odd, do let us know!
@Tadas46037519 Permits represent planned works. We display the data that are sent through them. Your complaints are with these sources.
If you have a problem, raise it with your local authority. We don't audit works and never will.

@Tadas46037519 The data we display for streetworks comes from the central registries in England and Scotland.
Every item displayed is a permit that's passed from them. If they are not actively working on the permit is not our fault nor is it an issue with the displayed data.
@Tadas46037519 If you think something isn't correct. Feel free to message us and we'll take a look. In general, bidb doesn't "guess" coverage data so there shouldn't be questionable accuracy.
@MrLanMan87@virginmedia@VirginMediaO2@libertyglobal@TelefonicaUK@CambsCC Every permit in England passes via https://t.co/1YYBFTdkmr's Street Manager. A promoter field exists on each permit, and we display that.
We used to group the two (which others still do?), but have decided it's time to actually show them under the promoter they actually use.
@BenjaminEHowe They are and always have been sent to us as different promoters. We've just decided it's time they were their own things and removed the merge we had in place before.
@maddawg_feeps Assuming you're referring to the coverage maps, information about this infrastructure is written up here https://t.co/eO7TtvsOwA
You're correct that we build up the map based on previous successful results.
@plazofn1 In addition to what's above. In Wales, there's no centralised register of works. We've contacted each of the 22 Welsh local authorities, but progress is very slow.
We have another idea to handle this, but unfortunately, either way, it's going to be a while😞
During these months we've also added 5 new native checkers for networks across the country with more to come very soon.
Again, if your coverage is missing, we're happy to help get you integrated, just reach out at https://t.co/ZzufXVbpYO
@ReverseDisabled@HongKongCymru There are a lot of changes happening with streetworks at the moment, unfortunately, that has led to Wales being blank for now but we're looking into it.
Last month we served 1,463,039 lookup requests, an increase of 32% from October 📈
It's been a busy month all around! In November we've been to the ISPA awards and finalised our mapping framework 🗺️
Of course, there's more to come!
