@holychoggers@lwandile11_@Big_Muffass@_iamhabeeb@Johnson2776 when it comes to reading, yes, precisely.
edit: sorry i had to repost this, would you like me to explain what “precisely” means? i assume you don’t read so i can provide a definition for you.
A catastrophic collapse of Earth’s climate-regulating ocean currents may already be inevitable, with new modeling showing that the climate-disrupting tipping point is already locked in.
A groundbreaking modeling study reveals that a catastrophic shutdown of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC)—the massive system of ocean currents regulating Europe's climate—may already be unavoidable. Researchers estimate there is a 10% to 23% probability that this critical tipping point has already been set, even if global emissions began declining immediately.
Under the most conservative scenarios, where greenhouse gases peaked in 2025 and Greenland's ice melt remains minimal, the chance of an irreversible collapse stands at 10%.
However, if the Greenland ice sheet releases more meltwater, diluting the ocean's salinity and halting the circulation mechanism, that probability rises to a concerning 23%. Under a worst-case scenario where emissions continue to rise throughout the century, the risk of a committed collapse skyrockets to 80% by 2100.
While the full collapse of this ocean conveyor belt would take several decades to unfold—with simulations projecting an average delay of 84 years before a complete shutdown—its eventual arrival would trigger severe global disruptions. Northern Europe and the UK could experience a dramatic temperature drop of up to 27 degrees Fahrenheit, while shifting tropical rainfall belts would threaten global agricultural harvests and trigger rapid sea-level rises along the U.S. East Coast. The research highlights the critical importance of reaching net-zero emissions as rapidly as possible. Even a 10% chance of committed collapse represents a massive systemic risk to human civilization, indicating that current mitigation efforts are a race against an invisible clock.

@lwandile11_@Big_Muffass@_iamhabeeb@Johnson2776 admitting you’re not into reading is blatant retardation and any argument otherwise also stems from blatant retardation because without reading you can’t cohesively formulate the words to form a reason to actually choose being stupid.

France hasn’t recovered from the last two heat waves and now faces a third Climate Crisis heat dome, with temps up to 117°F (47°C). Nighttime “low” temps are especially dangerous — bodies can never cool off from the day. We’re never going back to “normal.” We’re @ 430 ppm CO2.
Water temperatures around Australia's Great Barrier Reef were the warmest they've been in over 400 years this year, according to new research.
Scientists say the reef is facing "catastrophic damage."

What’s happening in France is devastating. It’s just a preview of what’s coming all over the world.
There’s no more time. We need a global movement to depose the ruling oligarchy and deviate from this suicidal trajectory, or they will succeed in ruling over our ashes.
A heatwave in the Arctic Circle pushed temperatures to an unprecedented 100°F, triggering alarms over rapid global warming.
The Siberian town of Verkhoyansk, located 70 miles north of the Arctic Circle and notorious for winter lows that plunge below -60°F (-51°C), recorded an astonishing 100°F (38°C) on June 20, 2020.
This milestone, officially verified by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), shattered the town's previous record of 99.1°F set in 1988.
Scientists attribute this intense triple-digit spike to a prolonged, human-caused heatwave that illustrates just how rapidly the polar regions are altering under global climate pressures.
As the Arctic warms multiple times faster than the rest of the planet, these unprecedented temperature extremes trigger dangerous, self-reinforcing climate loops.
The extreme heat accelerates the loss of reflective snow and sea ice, exposing darker ground and water that absorb more solar radiation. Simultaneously, this warming thaws ancient permafrost, threatening to release vast, long-stored reserves of carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere—potentially accelerating global climate disruption.
