The concept of having something to get what you need is no longer funny!
- You need money to find money
- You need working experience to get a job that will give you working experience
- You need light to load light on your meter
- You need data to buy data
Such is our Nigeria.
This Security Control Room wasn’t built by the current administration.
It was initiated and commissioned by Ajimobi as part of Oyo’s security infrastructure.
The real question is: what has happened to this facility since then? Have we improved on it, maintained it, or simply abandoned it while taking credit for what others built?
Oyo people deserve answers, not propaganda.
@naflasco What I heard was they use it to mark where they stopped, and there is usually a stick that will point to a direction, that is to know the direction they are going,so when they wake up, they face where it pointed too and keep moving.
There are arguments you won’t believe anymore made or can make in court, let alone a legal practitioner until you read them yourself and ask, if lawyers working for Prosecutorial Agencies in Nigeria are Devil’s incarnate or real human beings who are legally trained🤔
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: FIFA has unveiled the new pre-match ceremony format for the World Cup!
Players will no longer line up in two parallel lines before kick-off.
Instead, both teams, including substitutes, will form circles in their own half of the pitch.
The national anthems will then be played while two giant national flags are displayed across each half of the field.
PRESS STATEMENT
ON THE VISIT TO THE OYO STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE REGARDING THE ABDUCTION OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS IN ORIIRE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
Today, in my capacity as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and in furtherance of our advocacy for the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, I led a delegation of NANS to the Oyo State Police Headquarters, where we met with the Commissioner of Police, CP Abimbola Ayodeji.
I strongly condemned the heinous abduction of our students and teachers. I stressed that their continued captivity compelled me to temporarily relocate the NANS Headquarters to Oyo State. I briefed the Commissioner of Police that our visit to the state was aimed at engaging the government and security agencies, as well as commiserating with the families of the victims and visiting the affected schools.
I further stated that NANS is an ideology-driven organization with a clear mandate to represent and advance the collective interests of Nigerian students. We are fully aware of the responsibility we shoulder, and we operate with a well-defined modus operandi that is neither impulsive nor unilateral.
Going forward, I commended the efforts and sacrifices of the security operatives while appealing to them to intensify their efforts toward the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. I also urged them to strengthen security across our campuses and educational institutions.
In my address, I stated:
"We are deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident. However, we cannot afford to allow these terrorists to win. Therefore, this has become a collective struggle for all of us. At the same time, we must not place undue pressure on our security operatives in a manner that would make these criminals believe they have overwhelmed the system. This is not the time for blame-shifting but a time for unity, collaboration, and collective action to bring an end to this tragedy."
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police acknowledged the current leadership of NANS as truly ideology-driven and noted that we have demonstrated a high level of maturity and responsibility. He stressed that we are at a critical juncture where all stakeholders must support the security agencies to ensure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. He further stated that this is not a time to exploit the situation for political gain, emphasizing that journalism and activism serve different purposes.
He assured us of the commitment and ongoing efforts of the security agencies to secure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers, noting that they share in our pain and grief as parents and citizens.
Furthermore, he assured us that, despite the challenges, the security operatives would do everything within their capacity to ensure that Nigerians are not disappointed.
As President of NANS, I wish to assure Nigerian students that their mandate remains safe in my hands, and I will never compromise on my responsibility to protect and advance their interests.
Viva Aluta!
Thank you.
Yours in solidarity,
Dist. Comr. Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, GCNS

A recurring theme among APC officials since 2023 has been appeals for patience and understanding from Nigerians over economic reforms. The argument is that painful reforms such as fuel subsidy removal and exchange-rate liberalization are temporary sacrifices that will eventually
3 TIMES ATIKU LOST PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
1992/93 - In the SDP
Atiku (2,066) was lashed like a bedwetting teenager as he came distant 3rd behind MKO Abiola (3,617) and Baba Gana Kingibe (3,255).
2010/11 - In the PDP
Atiku (805) was again soundly beaten like an apprehended village thief by the then incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan (2,736)
2014/15 - In the APC
Atiku (954) was at this time mercilessly shelled like an untrianed bandit as he came very distant 3rd behind Muhammadu Buhari (3,430) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (974).
However, we must set history upon accurate plains lest we sound no different from the unlettered.
Alhaji has been involved in at least 7 Presidential Primaries and has emerged victories in 4 of those.
2007 - AC
When Asiwaju presented the AC ticket to him unopposed.
2018/19 - PDP
When he (1,532) bested the likes of Tambuwal (693), Saraki (317), and Kwankwaso (158) to emerge the candidate.
2022 - PDP
Atiku (371) through the last minute alliance with Tambuwal managed to best Wike (237) and Saraki (70).
2026 - ADC
And now, in the just concluded primaries against Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen.
3 Primary defeats and 3 Primary victories.
What was responsible for Atiku's defeats in 1992, 2010, and 2014 - and what accounts for every single victory that followed?
Any idea?
