@TheNovoDTLA I've heard bad things about the sound at this venue but tonight seeing @royksopp was THE WORST sounding concert experience I've ever had. The first song was great but the speakers literally blew out after one song, it was so bad we had to leave during the third song

Hey game people! I'm making new noises somewhere new!
Over the past year I've been working with amazing friends and talented developers at @WildlightEnt to help build a new team and game.
If you like good noises and or good games, stay tuned....
@DavidShaver Wait you are playing Metroid prime on steam deck?? Dude if you like spooky atmospheric space you have got to check out the dead space remake. The OG was a top 3 ps3 game for me.
@DavidShaver I’m really curious if you think the remaster still has the juice. I look at it after I’m in chapter 8 of dead space remake and I’m like…is this gonna hold up for someone who never played the GameCube game??
@dannthr I went to my PC and it was fine! Sorry for the false alarm, I was playing it using the embedded twitter browser on my phone, directly from the link in your tweet. Weird…
@ScottLowe@MckKirk The last step to getting the sound effect portion feeling right was I differentiated pings based in perspective. First person pings are beefier and more impactful with more layers while 3p pings from your team keep the same core tonality and style with less impact.
@ScottLowe@MckKirk I knew if pings were too context sensitive then you would never be able to learn them. So I boiled it down ultimate to 3 types of pings. Here’s an item, here’s a location, here’s an enemy. That seemed to work really well and was simple enough to learn quickly by ear.
