@NigelKellow Both the OFT and the Competition commission (CC) which merged to become the CMA investigated private healthcare over a decade ago, unfortunately the CC, in my view, chose to focus on private hospital monopolies (given their remit/focus) ignoring the concerns of the OFT on PMI.

@NigelKellow The whole application of no claims (as in car insurance) should be banned by the FCA. There is no economic rationale that balances out the harm of an industry which both provides and discourages public healthcare….

@NigelKellow Add to the fact that the year following any treatment that your premiums will go up by more than the amount claimed! So they get their money back and you get no benefit from paying in for years (as most think).
