@Darktide40K That said, I’m honestly quite surprised it didn’t get an extra mark. It honestly isn’t *bad* to me the way it is, except for some seemingly small hitboxes (?) I think it needs a mark with a more accessible cleave combo. Maybe a L1-L-H *repeat*
@Darktide40K I’ve had some games in auric where this works good. It’s the kind of weapon you need to push+attack L-H-L-H *repeat* in order to fight hordes. The first attack in the L chain being a thrusting stab feels awkward, but a lot of it’s attacks can 1-2 shot chaff while spamming
@OWAnonymous_ Even in a team not communicating, quick play, I feel like it provides better value especially to me as the mizuki player. You get one other person seeing you took it and it’s a great enabler perk
@Darktide40K I think they’re a necessary addition to the health of the game and horde composition. But they do need some additional reworks, maybe make the shield flak and break sooner? I really liked combat with shield clan rats, shield stormvermin, and bulwarks in Vermintide 2
@TheUltChaos@NomadLazy they need to be reworked. But I’m glad they’re in the game. I think their existence *could* be an opportunity for FS fix a lot of the game’s balance issues across the board. The main thing I’d like to see is their shield reduced to a weaker, at most flak, with less health.
@ElyayLeader I swear there was a blogpost saying while we had [skitarii] coming soon, there was another class coming later in the year after that.
If we do get another class I want: votann, Sister Novitiate, or Aeldari Corsair (they’ve been flying around us since beta)
@IGN The class is a ton of fun. Haven’t maxed them out yet but I have a feeling they won’t be so strong in an obvious way the way Arbite or Hive Scum are. Their skill tree is the most open and complex. The game feels great, performance has been consistent, the free content is good.
@MicrowaveMice RuneScape Dragon Wilds, Skitarii in Darktide. Having to commit 12 games every day and play one game like it’s mom assigning chores sucks. Sure I don’t have to get everything. But I also think a game shouldn’t feel like clocking in as consistent as my job to get even basic rewards
@Breadisradplus@MoneyFolder5 12 characters a year is massively unsustainable and bound to have horrible balancing issues. I’d rather have less that are higher quality even if I individually don’t like them very much. There are so many other options still

@Spybro42@Darktide40K This was something talked about in beta/early launch when Hedge was CM. But tbh I think he simply conflated that with blessings and perks. It is possible that was a system when the only planned class was veteran but I dont think it has been shown. id love to see some happen too
@Darktide40K I’m guessing this will function like Grail Knight combat ability. Gonna be fast charging with devastating swings. I’d also love to see it be a “stance” where you get to equip it for a charged period of time and make it your primary but that might not match power balance anymore
@avaught7@unusual_whales I did internship field experience in my program, even that and certs haven’t been enough. It’s a hamster wheel of qualifications and the bar keeps getting moved.
@Invinium A friend of mine loved this game and gifted it to me. I felt like the controls were bad and didn’t have the heart to tell them I didn’t enjoy it. Made it close to the end apparently but couldn’t force make to keep going
@sircalebhammer The issue with cars in America is a lot of areas are built on suburban sprawl and car dependency lobbied against public transport. I wish I didn’t need to own a car at all and I drive a 10year old sedan. Guess I should’ve gone older
@burgraph@Darktide40K They are adding to it at least. One of the last blogposts there was a comment about adding what sounded like a whole new expedition zone (environment) and modifiers
