Fellow Nigerians, 27 years ago, many doubted democracy would survive here because of our diversity. Today, our diversity sustains our democracy. The road ahead is steep. But June 12 reminds us: Nigerians do not break. We bend, we bleed, but we do not break.
Let us renew our covenant: That the labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from this land.
May God bless the heroes of our democracy. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May God continue to bless us all.
Happy Democracy Day.
BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
Federal Republic of Nigeria

đđ§đ· Ooni of Ife Receives Standing Ovation â OONI ADEYEYE ENITAN OGUNWUSI was honored by the National Congress of Brazil as Yoruba gained recognition as a regional language and Bahia declared the Yoruba cultural capital. A landmark celebration for global Yoruba heritage, culture, and identity.
Many reasons.
Where I hail from, for dunky years, schools were abandoned and left to decay. It was under APC that we started to see rehabilitation.
It was mirage before now to commute by train in Nigeria. APC brought that back to life.
APC built NCDMB in Bayelsa, built 2nd Niger Bridge, built the NDDC HQ, EFCC HQ, NSA complex, built the Calabar Cameroon road and built Loko Weto bridge, the bridge to Bonny in Rivers, upgraded our Int'l Airports, Lagos to Ibadan, Enugu - Umuahia, enacted the PIA, et al
APC introduced Npower, an impactful scheme. APC commenced bold steps to plunge our infrastructural deficit.
APC removed the long fuel subsidy cancer, ended currency subsidies and retooling our finances as a nation today. Clearing and servicing debts to attract foreign investment.
APC introduced one of the best Education loan scheme in Africa.
Implementating a consumer credit system and so on..
I rate them over and above the PDP that I witnessed. They are not perfect but has shown reasonable deviation from meddlesomeness.
Other parties masquerading as opposition are still not half as organized and prepared like the APC.
For these and more, I solidly stand with the APC.
TINUBU HAS NOT SOLVED ANY MAJOR PROBLEM INHERITED BY HIS ADMINISTRATION SINCE 2023
Meanwhile,
- ASUU has not gone on any serious strike for almost three years
- Fuel queues have totally disappeared from our stations
- Currency round-tripping has become a thing of the past.
- Days of prices going up but never coming down are over which signifies stability.
- Governors are no more borrowing to pay salaries in Nigeria.
- NNPC has become a transparent organization that posts monthly reports and now declares profit back to back.
- Major companies including MTN, Nigeria Breweries etc now declare billions in profits due to improved performances.
- You can now make international payments with your Naira cards unlike the previous years where it was totally impossible.
- Delays in passport processing have been seriously dealt with by Tinubuâs administration due to automation that has now enhanced transparency.
- Nigeria is no more using 95% of its revenue to service debts like before.
- Nigeria has now been removed from FATF Gret list indicating massive trust and improvement in the countryâs financial dealings.
I can go on and on but I trust my people to add more in the comments section.
While undeniable challenges still persist in power and security, you cannot deny the improvement that has taken place in other sectors of our country since Tinubu took over.
Every President is elected to attempt myriads of problems facing their country and while it is easy to forget where we are coming from, Tinubu has fixed so many issues that are easy to forget because we are now used to them.
Some of us will continue to remind you of these progress so you can stop living in your own delusion that he has not solved any problem inherited by his administration.

Why are we threatening war with Nigeria? Hereâs why:
Nigeria was the single largest recipient of Chinese construction financing in the first half of 2025, with $21 billion in construction deals, making it a focal point for Chinaâs Belt and Road Initiative. In addition, in late October 2025, Nigeria and China signed a major $3.5 billion investment partnership. This agreement focuses on boosting Nigeriaâs infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing sectors, including the construction of new solar power plants, modernization of rail lines connecting major cities and expansion of industrial parks. The partnership is seen as a transformative move for Nigeriaâs economic strategy.
âŠ.But if the country is in ruin because of war in the name of âsaving Christiansâ China canât expand their belt and road. Thatâs the REAL reason weâre threatening Nigeria.
The latest threat by U.S. President Donald Trump @POTUS to launch military action in Nigeria, allegedly to protect Christians, may sound appealing to some. Still, history has shown this to be perilous.
Whether you are Christian, Muslim, animist, or non-religious, no one should celebrate such rhetoric. The United States and its allies have a long record of military interventions that leave nations more unstable than before. They failed to secure peace in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, or Syria, and they wonât bring salvation to Nigeria through bombs or boots on the ground.
What Nigeria truly needs is not a foreign savior, but legitimate, accountable leadership, one that protects all citizens, upholds justice, and ends the cycles of corruption and violence that have left the nation broken.
@realDonaldTrump does not care about Nigerians not Christians, Muslims, or anyone else. Our deliverance will never come from abroad; it must come from within, through real leadership (not the Tinubus of this world) and national renewal. #RevolutionNow
Nigeria stands firmly as a democracy governed by constitutional guarantees of religious liberty.
Since 2023, our administration has maintained an open and active engagement with Christian and Muslim leaders alike and continues to address security challenges which affect citizens across faiths and regions.
The characterisation of Nigeria as religiously intolerant does not reflect our national reality, nor does it take into consideration the consistent and sincere efforts of the government to safeguard freedom of religion and beliefs for all Nigerians.
Religious freedom and tolerance have been a core tenet of our collective identity and shall always remain so. Nigeria opposes religious persecution and does not encourage it.
Nigeria is a country with constitutional guarantees to protect citizens of all faiths.
Our administration is committed to working with the United States government and the international community to deepen understanding and cooperation on protection of communities of all faiths.
BOLA AHMED TINUBU
PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA
By the time you religious bigots realise what you have done to our country, you may regret it.
This is not right.
Nigeria is not on a religious war/genocide.
What we have is insecurity.
You'll gain nothing, if Nigeria goes to war.
If we allow western influence on us.
End.
Awolowo will not lose Lagos state election at national politics any day anytime. Awolowo would not need to give kulikuli and garri to Yoruba people before they massively vote for him or any candidate he supports in any elections.
Can any of our political elites boast of such an ideological and fanatical following without financial or monetary inducement???
How many us will pay money to go and listen to this current YorĂčbĂĄ political elites? No oratory prowess, no ideology, just a bunch social climbers who do not understand the matyrdom of people like Awo.
They will never be like Awolowo and they don't even want to be because they are selfish, corrupt and feudalist.
Awolowo produced great men like Bola Ige, Jakande, Olawoyin of offa, Rewane of Warri, Enahoro, Ambrose Alli, Ajasin, Adesanya Lam Adesina etc This people will take bullets for the Yoruba people in Nigeria.
Some of them were jailed and while others were assassinated, just because they don't want YorĂčbĂĄ people to become enslaved in Nigeria.
The mother of Tinubu was a women leader under Awolowo. The alliance for democracy (AD) was created by the disciples of Awolowo, this party gave Tinubu the platform to become what he became today.
Why do many of this folks think we are defending Tinubu, is it not because of the warnings Awolowo gave us about the politics of Nigeria?
