@stuartshakesby @medialens If we're making comparisons: Russia is 2003 Era US and UK in this instance: invading a sovereign nation on spurious security pretexts (swap WMDs with US bio-labs and UKR "Nazi" superweapons) with the goal of replacing a government you don't like with a client/puppet.

We INVADED Iraq, whereas the Ukrainians have INVITED foreign troops. One is a violation of national sovereignty, the other is meant to insure it.
