#Criminilogy The consent decree also address the department's hiring practice to ensure the department becomes diverse. The most important part of the consent decree is community policing, the community deserves a police department that does not police with motives.

#Criminology The consent decree outlined by the State of Illinois puts the Chicago police in a supervised state. CPD must add programs like community policing and use of force guidelines. The Chicago Police Department must build a bond with the community to gain trust.
