*ripping shirt off* online bisexuals BE NORMAL challenge, nobody hates us, irl even straight people are welcomed in our beautiful community spaces. all it takes is having good vibes. now if you’re not pure of heart and good of vibes then that’s another thing
@kyoruyeye recently my straight friend was talking about her fear of rejection and i was comforting her when she said “its different cause youre gay” and i said “you think that rejection doesnt hurt just as much when it’s a woman?” and she was like ohh….
@NxtDeterio probably the disgust that straight guys have had for *women* has a lot to do with why lesbians dont like them… and straight guys famously can get pretty homoerotic while trying to not be gay
@v4mpwheeler i feel this, it makes me realize that part of being ‘feminine’ in the eyes of heteropatriarchal culture is being with boys (even if you’re just complaining about boys lol)
@sternpilled to be clear, every time we add more diversity to types of lesbians on screen is a good thing! i just think this reasoning does not make sense from a media analysis or historical perspective
@sternpilled tell me why it matters so much to you that fictional lesbians be pretty? this isnt a radical take— media already depicts lesbians as consumable for the male gaze. if you look at many famous lesbians of history they ARE like eloise: nonconformists who marry late or not at all
pisses me off so much. i feel like the first post was engagement bait too cause you’re telling me those are the best photos of the san antonio riverwalk you can find? pissing me off. smh
i wonder if this happens to other bisexual women who are lesbianing where its like did i not like men that whole time? or did they just traumatize me so now i feel that way. or was it comphet or both
