@xagreat Yet, it was still not enough to pay salaries. We had to keep printing money and rely on forward sales of crude oil. Meanwhile, airlines were bailing out because of trapped funds they could not repatriate.

@donpedro486 @jon_d_doe Lagos existed long before 1999, but the foundations of modern Lagos were laid by Tinubu. Street touts were part of Lagos life even before BAT’s administration in 1999, including during Marwa’s era. 1995–2003 is not so distant for anyone to start revising history.
