@ibn_marah@Rinsola____@TundeObadina1 Yes, the best way would be government intervention in areas such as transportation, health, education, housing and food. This interventions would be easier coming from LG/states.
@sanihamisu2021@AminuDalhat You don't realize money for payment or non-payment of subsidy affect all the levels of Government?. Why do you think the money in the ECA was shared during GEJ?. The governors where not comfortable with FG dipping hand into the account for any reason.
@xagreat Yet, it was still not enough to pay salaries. We had to keep printing money and rely on forward sales of crude oil. Meanwhile, airlines were bailing out because of trapped funds they could not repatriate.
@dare_johnson@OloriebiBet The sad part is that many of you believe you are more intelligent, yet someone still has to remind you of the basics you were taught as children. Which level of government is closer to the people, FG, State, or LGA? Do you know the responsibilities of each Levels of Government?
@jamesnans81@channelstv Yet back then, when states got “money of supposed higher value,” many couldn’t even pay salaries. Today, how many do you hear are owing? Looks like governors have learned to do more with less, abi?
Saw how judgy my neighbor’s nanny was as she looked through my kitchen window to see me shirtless, turning semo.
She snapped out of it when I yelled “Wetin happen?” as she responded “nothing o” walking past
I know what y’all thinking. It’s time I rolled down my kitchen blinds😒
@donpedro486@jon_d_doe Lagos existed long before 1999, but the foundations of modern Lagos were laid by Tinubu. Street touts were part of Lagos life even before BAT’s administration in 1999, including during Marwa’s era. 1995–2003 is not so distant for anyone to start revising history.
