@liftblog It's always fun seeing the places you visit. I grew up in Edmonton and totally forgot this place existed. I skied there a couple times as a kid in the 80s.
@GlenMah It's shut down until 7pm at the earliest by the looks of it. Not a fun place to be stuck but at least it's sunny out! Avalanche risk is off the charts out there, stay safe!
@StormSkiJournal@MtNorquay@SkiBig3 There is a lift in Edmonton Alberta at Snow Valley Ski club that does the same thing. I think it has 12 or 15 chairs on opposite ends for load and unload and the lift slows down. Almost like the Snow Cab at Snowmass.
@outofpodcast I am intrigued by these. I have a high volume wide foot, fitting boots is always been a nightmare . My current K2 boots are the first don't kill me but that was after extensive work by a custom boot fitter. My bottom buckles are essentially there for looks. BOA might help my fit
@nielsonTSN1260 Can’t wait until you are calling the Grey Cup! It’s been a lot of fun watching you develop into the game caller you’ve become. From working in obscure goal calls during UofA games to working with the likes of Dunigan (best TSN pairing by far) it’s been a wild ride!
@LeftCoastLeafs It’s the goaltenders that come out of the ECHL that are most impressive: Holtby, Thomas, Quick, Legacy, Beauchemin, Halak. Defenceman of not is also Engelland and Girardi that I can think of.
