80 year old shoots Hispanic window cleaner—he just asked for water.

He may never walk again.

"I asked for bottle of water."
"Turned my back to leave."
"Next minute I got shot."

Homeowner admit he did "search him out" to make sure he left.

But says gun went off "by accident."

Juan Hoffman is a 21 year old college student—he was selling window cleaning door to door to save money for school.

Patrick McBride is the homeowner—he first picked up the bullet shell casing and took the other man's phone before going back inside.

He didn't call 911—his wife finally did.

Now he has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and currently out on bond.

Incident occurred in a gated community on the north side of Scottsdale, Arizona.
