Hey People 💕
I wanted to start the year by sharing something close to my heart.
Over the past few months, I’ve been supporting a young woman in Nigeria ; someone incredibly hardworking, kind, and always advocating for others, even while struggling herself.
She’s been battling depression and anxiety, which later affected her physical health. She’s gone through multiple treatments, is now in therapy and on medication, and during all of this… she lost her job.
She’s also the sole provider for herself and her younger brother. Relocating for better healthcare added even more financial strain.
Right now, she’s carrying a debt of ₦1.7m (around £900) just to survive. This fundraiser is about lifting that weight so she can heal, reset, and rebuild.
If you’re able to donate or share, it truly means the world.
Community still matters 🤍

We are facing an existential threat to our existence. This threat is not abstract nor is it distant. It’s happening now. Our rivers are polluted now. Babies are being born with deformities now. Farmers are losing farmlands to galamsey now. We are deporting foreign nationals involved in illegal mining instead of prosecuting them here in Ghana. We created an initiative called tree for life which plants trees that do not absorb the toxins in our soils. We created NAIMOS but failed to initially provide them with gear to protect themselves from the terrorists we face. Our institutions like Water resource commission, forestry commission, EPA and others are rendered ineffective by political interference. We have laws that are consistently undermined because of political interference. We had to fight for L.I 2462 to be revoked. What fight against Galamsey are we really doing?#StopGalamseyNow
The NHS is under pressure to adopt Palantir software.
Palantir’s founder openly despises the NHS.
You can push back – use our tool to see if your local trust is using the software, then send an email to say no to Palantir

All the ChatGPT commercials are like “help me find the best path to the store” and it’s so deeply insulting to human beings and brains, but people have completely accepted that they can’t think or do simple shit on their own anymore.
Y’all really put the weight of your inadequacies on children. You can’t socialise as an adult, and children are the answer. Your marriage is failing, have children to “save it”. You want to know how if a man really likes you, have a child. My goodness.
I eat it all on Christmas. I can be a geezer and a bush babe all in one. Roast in the early afternoon, Jollof in the late afternoon, curry goat in the evening. Bobs your uncle, Funke’s your aunt, let’s foken Ave it mi seh.
I love what books do to me. I love being undone by a book. I love laughing—truly laughing—because of a book. I love getting lost in its pages and forgetting, for a while, that reality exists. I love being riled up by a book, ranting about it, thinking because of it.❤️
From a feminist perspective this is exactly what happens when we start to unlearn society’s narrow scripts for adulthood. Feminism teaches us that a meaningful life isn’t inherently tied to marriage, children or traditional markers of success but stepping outside those
You try to live ethically, but your choices move through infrastructures shaped by scarcity, competition, and extraction. Even simple daily choices get routed through layers of harm you never consented to. That’s not personal failure, it’s structural design.
