@andrew_leach @Generac @NeurioHome @Sense My sense system has been really good. Paid for itself when my meter broke and epcor tried to not pay for my exports. Their business model seems strange however since there is no monthly fee. Not sure how that is sustainable for them.

Now you can end up with 8 new neighbours when you used to have 1. Lots of noise.

@AndrewKnack In this new format, i'd say more than 2 (duplex) is too many. Would you be fine with say 15 people sharing the yard next to yours, each hosting their gatherings, having parties, coming and going, smoking, etc. It's a big difference compared to living next to an appt building.
