Going against the new rules of X (don't share links, don't mention Hive, don't share links from decentralized social media...) so i don't expect more than 30 views on this but...

First music album from my friends Kronika.
i did click and edit the Album Cover.
For Arsenal players with 30 or more dribble attempts in the Premier League the top 3 for success rate (beat man or drew foul)
1. Eze 58.8%
2. Martinelli 56.8%
3. Saka 49.1%
Bottom 3
8. Gyokeres 20%
7. Timber 41%
6. Trossard 45.9%
i don't think necessarily the best, teams were a bit surprised, and the super low organized block was not used. And 2 most creative players were not injured half of the season.
we saw what a good low block can do against the best attacking team.
next year will probably also be hard, mostly because of fitness (WC, no rest, no good preseason).
you shared a lot of photos from the game, in every one of them PSG has 4-5 players defending a counterattack while a goal down. Was that smart and showing courage or fear of counterattacks?
in almost 140 minutes of football played PSG had 1 shot on target from open play, in 116 minute. The best attacking team in the world, and the only decent chance they created was from the counterattack.
i do think Arteta thought they would be more courageous and less risk averse, and there will be more space for counters. But knowing the state of the team, there was no way he would try to play a sprint forward, sprint back game against them.
Also didn't really think about it till now, two games where a team scored early, but one game was called a masterclass by Luis Enrique, and one was called low block fear by Arteta.
By these two heatmaps, which one was which?
@Wanalyst007@RandDMusicUK you mean he had 2 serious impact injuries played most of the games with one and still made a difference in winning the Premier League?
this was the only shot on target from the best attacking team in the world. in 116 minute of the game.
The only real chance they had was a counterattack.
PSG played the same against Bayern, but Bayern went full in and left a lot of space for the counter. PSG played with 3-4 players covering counterattacks.
@hfxafc i often say Haaland is lucky he is not playing for Arsenal, engagement farmers would ask to sell him every other week...

@AFC_Monty_ i could be wrong, but maybe people commenting about football should at least watch highlights.
can't even imagine the amount of hate engagement farming if Haaland played for Arsenal. It would be heaven for all the grifters.

Are these people connected to football in any way? like did they even kick a ball in their life? Did they actually watch any of the Arsenal games?
Yes, Arsenal is really good at low block defending.
But Arsenal is facing low block defending almost every week, and they are criticized for not creating enough from open play.
When the best attacking team in the world faced an organized low block, this was their only open play shot on target. In the 116 minute of the game.
PSG should hope no teams from the league watched the game, could be that next season their best players will have to play more than 12 league games.
@HACKETTREF do you think with these changes the game will just slow down or will we have to see players collapsing before that?
i can't see players playing 70-75 minutes of effective game with the tempo played in PL or later stages of CL.
@afc_25079 Rice made a mistake for the penalty. i think Arsenal should sell him.
FFS people, George Carlin was right... X just makes his point stronger.
