BTS' 'ARIRANG' has a 63% chance of being the #1 best selling album of the year in the US by pure sales, according to Kalshi traders.
It's currently #1 as mid-year tracking wraps.
I feel sad for some of these groups, their entire existence is because their fans genuinely hate bts and want someone to become like them not because they do like them or their music
There's something I've noticed in bts mv'. Whenever bts enters a new chapter or reaches an important milestone, there's always a door involved and they're always the ones opening it themselves. Maybe it's a small detail meant to show that nobody ever opened doors for them, and that they reached every stage of their journey through their own hard work
Arirang by BTS is the most recognized album of 2026:
1. Rolling Stone: Best albums of 2026
2. COMPLEX: Best albums of 2026
3. Consequences: Best Songs of 2026 — SWIM
4. Consequences: Best Songs of 2026 — Hooligan
5. Yahoo: Best workout songs of 2026 — Swim
6. NME: Best album of 2026
7. NME: Best song of 2026 — Body To Body
kinda crazy how bts had to fight tooth and nails to get recognized by the industry by getting insane records/stability and yet other groups, who don’t even have 1% of bts success, are gonna get all the privileges bc bts paved the way for them
award shows that added a kpop category:
VMAs (since 2019)
EMAs (since 2021)
AMAs (since 2022)
BBMAs (since 2023)
iHeartRadio Awards (since 2024)
Grammys (new)
look at when all of this started happening...but sure, kpop twt will tell you bts did nothing for the asian market lol
"I do not particularly like or deeply believe in the phrase "someone saving someone else." However, having undeservedly heard such words from time to time, it makes me look back and realize that perhaps I, too, was saved by all of you" - Namjoon🥺💜
