Made a March Madness bracket tool called Courtside.
It combines @kenpomeroy ratings with the 'Trapezoid of Excellence' concept from @RyanHammer09 to help you analyze matchups and fill out your bracket

@hannahkrieg@Jim_Brunner It’s like a really sucky Little League team that hasn’t won a game all season. But instead of practicing and getting better, the kids and parents just keep complaining how “umps cost us every game!”
@rothschildmd No offense, but you don’t know how elections work. ICE doesn’t need to show up at every polling place in America. A handful of polling places in swing CDs determines the outcome of those races. Suppressing Dem turnout in a few key locations determines control of Congress.
🚨BREAKING: Steve Bannon said Tuesday that the federal government is planning to send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to patrol polling stations during this year’s midterm elections. https://t.co/dYlasxUkEh
@bennpeifert I do think this is going to happen, but I don’t think it will be a good thing for them. It will galvanize not just people here, but people abroad as well. Kent State 2.0 will not be popular.
But it will be a scary mess and people will very likely die, so yeah 😞
Political speechmaking has generally degraded to the point that there's no reason to read them, rather than simply how they're reported, but Carney's Davos speech is a rare exception.
"The old order is not coming back. We should not mourn it. Nostalgia is not a strategy."
@shannonrwatts Here’s the roll call vote. My math shows 14 Dems and 1 Independent (Jeffords in VT, Bernie was not in the Senate in 2005) voted for it. Not 59 as you stated.

@shannonrwatts Hey Shannon, this is interesting. The 2005 PLCCA vote was 65-31.

So does that mean only 6 Republicans voted for it? That doesn’t seem right. Are you referring to a different bill?
