@JJSharpers @WeCops #Wecops i think caring responsibilities and child care are a big barrier. I was due to meet policing minister a couple of weeks back but the Gen Elec has got in the way. I was going to ask about free childcare vouchers... I don't know its possible, but would it help ?

Feels too much for people to do before they get going with something on the ground; yet we need the professionalism and the individuals need the trg to do the job. Hard balance, Flexible learning=good.

@WeCops #Wecops So true Russell. this is a really big cause of attrition i think. Got to keep them warm and informed, and explain why it is taking so long, at the same time, speed up the process. Feels like, even if not a reality, SC applications can end up on the back burner
