@maryjofoley@QuinnyPig ๐ @maryjofoley - I think your indexing on my big aussie exterior. I could easily pass for a truckie. I think it would be fun!
@maryjofoley@U8N20 This has actually happened @maryjofoley i.e. I jump onto a call and people are talking about a container and I have to listen for a bit to determine whether were talking software or the big physical unit out the back of the building
Cool to see #microsoftmanageddesktop on MJโs list. Lots to come in terms of lifting pc experience bar & employee sentiment at work https://t.co/dJkzj8g8ph #hr#windows

@donasarkar@joebelfiore@GabeAul It has been so AWESOME to have you as Insider chief @donasarkar . I knew you would take #WindowsInsiders in new directions, you blew me away with your creativity, energy, passion and what you turned #WindowsInsiders into. I learned so much from you. Congrats on new gig!
@marypcbuk@DSolodow Not really. MMD factory images are tightly aligned with M365 capabilities we light up for enterprise, security and the runtime policies we implement. However, when OEMs fix driver bugs to meet MMD reliability / performance bar - yes, those improvements flow into sig images. HTH
@NasherxDL @vmwarehorizon Depends on what you're trying to achieve. Food for thought, we find productivity apps get highest usage. On MMD, productivity app usage is not extra $$ vs VDI as using local PC cycles, we (MS MMD) do heavy lifting on mgmt. Local execution also == better user experience
@DSolodow@marypcbuk We work with OEMs to develop optimized factory image for MMD catalog models if necessary (drivers etc.) based on global diagnostics for specific model, tune our runtime policies and code, constantly monitor global devices and tune (rinse/repeat).
@danielricciardo Damn right @danielricciardo. That last lap was the most interesting piece of the whole boring race. There's something seriously wrong with the FIA, in the last two races they have taken actions to penalize the drivers that actually race and make F1 a spectacle.

Lets challenge assumptions. You donโt have to trade off #UserExperience on PCs in the name of security. This article discusses our architectural approach in the #MicrosoftManagedDesktop service where we (MS) run customersโ PCs. https://t.co/DjEVObw3J0 #windows10#itmanagement
Security doesnโt have to compromise user experience. Read about common mistakes and how #MicrosoftManagedDesktop can help in the latest blog article from @BillKar44: https://t.co/L7THowxFPJ
@markwbuse @nathanm With MMD, we run our customers PC fleets. These devices are cloud connected, monitored, secured and managed. Not running in datacenter. HW catalog includes some Winterminals and fixed PCs for call-center profile. However, mostly mobile PCs since fixed PCs in decline for years now
We kicked off a new blog today to continue the discussions on the Microsoft Managed Desktop Service (MMD). The first post covers our vision on the user experience approach we take for workplace computing. https://t.co/EUIVnLvN9d #windows#userexperience#digitaltransformation
