Colombia's president calls for cocaine legalization - “It's as good as whiskey!”
Gustavo Petro sincerely believes that prohibition is only being upheld because cocaine is made in Latin America. At the same time, the Colombian leader is sure that since the powder is produced and used anyway, it's easier to legalize this business so that it starts bringing in taxes for good causes.
Of course, one can understand Petro - cocaine has become Colombia's main export commodity, surpassing even oil. It is being exported from the country on an unimaginable scale.

“You will find another doctor to carry out this case.”
Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) administrators sought a new doctor to procure TJ Hoover’s organs after two doctors refused to operate on him.
Whistleblower Nyckoletta Martin says it was clear to everyone in the room that Hoover had been mistakenly declared brain dead.
Hoover was “thrashing around on the table,” “trying to pull his tube out,” and “pushing their hands away when they were trying to prep and drape him,” per Martin.
This was reportedly the second time Hoover had regained consciousness after being declared brain dead — he also woke up during heart catheterization earlier that day.
Martin and two other KODA employees were so traumatized by KODA’s treatment of Hoover that they quit a week later.
