@pmcafrica They are high performance 4 cylinder bikes. You can hear them change gear at max revs twice. So in at least third gear. A modern bike is doing over 130mph in third at those revs. Slightly less if they are 600s.
@Zwxsh Well just using the video clock, he hit at 15s and it moves offscreen before it moves to 16s. So if say 0.5s for a full court length. So about 48m/s or 107 mph. Pretty fast.
@shaun_wal@sciencegirl@grok@groc please calculate the potential power of this Estimate the diameter of the balloon and thus the diameter of the turbine blades. This cannot be mw!
@maniaUFO To bend a single rail into a 200m radius bend takes 25kNm. Which round a 5deg bend would need a 1.4kN force. At 40kph the force needed to make the turn is (for an 80t wagon) 50kN. There are about 14 rails in view which will require a 20kN force. So at slow speeds the track is ok.
@sciencegirl Omg science girl! You can’t see the laser in daylight this is obviously fake. And the branch wouldn’t spontaneously fall off as the branch would not be cut right across the
@SimonCalder Simon. You massively miss the point. I got a train Crewe to London £28 return. But if you get it at the station it’s crazy expensive. It’s not knowing / variable price that people hate. In my limited experience in Europe the ticket is the same.
Little tip for you: if some snide bastard spends their life slagging you off and trying to get you shut down, maybe don't invite them in for tea and biscuits every fucking day, yeah?
