Thanks to @kxrwvancouver and @vanzkantdanz for letting me curate a playlist based on some of my writing for @CultureSonar Let’s do it again soon!

@notgaetti Never understood this trope. No one feels sorry for billionaires or a mid level reliever making 4 million a year. Or the Kyle Tuckers of the world. It’s all the same to a school teacher making 50K a year who can’t afford to take his family to a game anymore.
@skostyboi Rebuild with what? Current farm has very little. Players playing badly have little to no value. Big contracts a burden. Only value is in the pitching staff. Trade them and then what?
@coopmavs Plenty of guys on the roster are still “three true outcome” players (Burger, Pederson, even Seager). They do not put the ball in play. That isn’t going to magically go away when the coaches want them to change their approach.
Apparently the stadium is now in their heads too.
@ML3democrats@SirJeremyLondon Loved Colbert. But the days of 5-10 million viewers a night are long over. Too many choices.I’m smart enough to know Colbert alienated half of viewers, who then took a hard pass on him. There’s a guy I watch detail cars on YouTube. He has almost 4 million subscribers.Times change.
@notgaetti Reggie was my guy growing up in California in the late 60s & early 70s. I just loved The Swingin’ A’s. The white shoes. The mustaches. The bright uniforms. It was all so magical. The coliseum was amazing back then too!
Great episode! Shameless plug when I’m mentioned at the end. (Last three minutes.)
Eric Nadel and Tim Kurkjian are so fun and wonderful storytellers! Two HOFers in their professions.

@McFarland_Shawn@dmn_rangers The offense is designed poorly. Hopes and dreams that guys that haven’t hit will suddenly do so. Luckily the division is weak. Seager got old fast. His personal hitting coach and his OCD to his own methods aren’t working. Yet he marches forward.
