Professor emeritus/retired NASA researcher, founder of the STEM outreach program TeachSTEM Conducts outreach with my planetarium . Serious amateur astronomer.
We hosted @billyhix , retired NASA engineer and globally recognized astronomy educator, who brought his incredible portable planetarium! Thank you @theTSIN for making this possible!
@DeanaSain@theTSIN@STEMignites Thank you so much for a GREAT day!!! Great students and great educators! Deana, thank you for all of the hard work that made my day a great one. @STEMignites thank you for making visits like this possible. I hope that these videos will put a smile on your face!!!
@VoteGloriaJ Thank you for standing up for all - and hope you will stay safe! In my retirement, I take my planetarium to schools (for free) but in today's world, I have been threatened by church members for teaching falsehoods. This murder is due to hate being glorified by the GOP.
@DeanaSain@theTSIN Thank you Deana - I missed all of these and I am sure glad I found them tonight!!! You made for a most wonderful day!!!!! Thank you for your friendship over the past 20 years or so!!! Thank you Brandi @STEMignites for allowing me to have so much fun and call it work!!
@UnrealBluegrass Thank you for posting - it is the first time in several months that I have hope for my little grandsons - maybe our country isn't finished yet. Maybe there will be enough of care and are educated to save us all. Thanks again for posting!!!
@LakotaMan1 I am real - I live in an area where 78% voted from Trump - I am a retired astronomy researcher and live here due to the fact that my 3 little grandsons live here - but it is a sad place to live. Thankful for what you have to say
@poppy_northcutt Thank you for sharing your history!!! Christmas eve 1968 changed my life and my career - as a farm boy who longed to leave, watching the moon pass by made me think I could do anything. Thank you for all that you have done - with you and the team, I would still be farming.
Enjoyed @billyhix and his daughter who teaches at Cascade visiting us @Flintville_ to see how our STEM/Paxton-Patterson Learning Lab works. Great job @FESscience78 for presenting.
I want to thank the teachers and staff at @HRSHornets for allowing me to spend the day with your 5th grade students in my planetarium! What an excited group of students! A special thank you to Mrs. Diotalevi for making sure my day was a good one! A GREAT group of students!
@contactlight69 There was a time when we dared great things and had a plan to accomplish them! I was so inthralled by each mission even while living in a rural location were most thought it was a waste. I ended up working at NASA - I love seeing your post - they make me smile!
