also it's not that people didn't say this, but it's more like
1. they'd often only repeat "the biggest predictor of positive change is the therapeutic alliance" - and it's like "ok but what do"
2. it took a while for me to internalize "be an empathetic nonjudgmental presence"
@vibamohan_@noampomsky yeah
i have a friend in a similar situation. loves to rant about his job. I didn't give him a survey but i have concluded that actually he must love his job and also love ranting, and wants to maintain that status quo
update: support gave me a code for a free entree to use in the next 30d
good on them for being on top of it
AND chipotle really gotta figure out this inconsistent portions issue
introduce food scales or smth idk
ordered chipotle delivery for the first time today cus i was like "lemme treat myself", absolutely awful experience how do people live like this
- paid for double chicken, YET THE BURRITO WAS LIKE 60% OF A REGULAR BURRITO
- took 1h for initial est. 40min
- i was like stuck not able to commit to any meaningful task while waiting
- delivery via doordash not synced in the chipotle app
- complained in the app, and the chatbot was like "noted, ok bye"
boys, one lowkey nice thing about improving how you dress and getting a nice haricut is that every time i go to the bathroom now and see myself in the mirror, my reaction is "oh wtf i'm actually kinda hot" π
finding a man who sees you, enjoys being a dad and part of a family, cares about your happiness, and wants to invest in your shared life is both more important and more difficult to find than a man with a lucrative career.
the dishonesty piece is interesting because it seems like a lot of people feel very strongly about it, but idk, if a piece was enjoyable to read, how much does it matter if it was AI or not?
a few angles I can think of:
- personal morals - dishonestly is bad
- good writing as status - this game gets muddied
- individual discernment as status? - if you thought something was well-written but turns out it was AI then you were played the fool
appreciate this thread, cus i realized i hadn't been thinking explicitly about this much until now
for me
1. I find a lot of blatant AI writing unpleasant to read
2. the thought of the commons being flooded by ^ makes me sad
if the writing is enjoyable to read then I don't really mind if AI was used
