@NYCMayor Tisha B'Av is a day of mourning which commemorates the destruction of the first and second Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
You know Jerusalem. That's the place that Mayor Mamdani doesn't recognize as the indigenous homeland of the Jewish people.
I’m excited to share that in a week, on July 27, my short book Hamas and Its Two Million Hostages will be published in paperback and as an eBook. It traces Hamas’s rise in Gaza; its motivations, the ideology that shaped its rule, and the road to October 7; interwoven with my own experience growing up under its ascent. I reflect on key elements of Gaza’s recent history and Hamas’s assault on the Palestinian national project. While not a full memoir or exhaustive history, the book offers a clear, accessible overview for readers often misled about Gaza and the Islamist movement that dominates it.
The book’s argument is direct: Hamas has inflicted catastrophic harm on Palestinians, turning Gazans into hostages of a violent, rigid movement whose decisions led to the Strip’s devastation, all while accounting for Israeli policy choices that helped entrench Hamas and made dislodging it difficult. This short book is my case against the terror organization and against those who cast it as legitimate “resistance.” It is a call to promote Palestinian agency, accountability, and responsibility, even within the profound imbalance of power dynamics with Israel. Palestinians urgently need honest assessment and self‑reflection from a genuinely pro‑Palestine perspective to learn from past mistakes and chart a different path toward safety, prosperity, freedom, and well‑being.
You can pre‑order the paperback or eBook at the link, or use the ISBN (9781760646158) to order through Amazon: https://t.co/QnFlYuW6hN

June 25, 2006: Hamas terrorists tunneled into Israel, murdered two soldiers & kidnapped 19-year-old Corporal Gilad Shalit.
For more than five years, Israel had no idea where he was being held. No rescue option existed. Hamas held all the cards.
Israel had completely withdrawn from Gaza 9+ months earlier, and there was no blockade. The tighter restrictions only came in 2007 — after Hamas violently seized full control and began firing thousands of rockets at Israeli civilians.
Shalit was finally released in 2011 in exchange for 1,027 Palestinian prisoners, including hundreds of convicted terrorists. Among them was Yahya Sinwar, who went on to mastermind the October 7 Massacre.
This is the impossible moral dilemma Israel faces: a nation where every soldier is seen as someone’s child, and where Jewish tradition places a sacred obligation on redeeming captives — even at enormous cost.
Hamas understood this perfectly. They turned one young Israeli into leverage, knowing Israel would pay a heavy price to bring him home. The deal freed men who later helped plan and carry out far greater atrocities.
Unfortunately, history proves kidnapping works. It creates unbearable pressure on a society that refuses to abandon its people.
There are no easy answers here — only terrible choices between abandoning a hostage and empowering the enemy. Hamas exploits this dilemma without hesitation. Israel is forced to live with the consequences.
Israel, Greece, Cyprus and the United States have launched, on Friday June 11th, the East Med Energy Center, a new platform for cooperation in energy, technology, innovation and research.
The initiative will strengthen cooperation on energy security, cybersecurity, innovation and critical infrastructure while bringing together governments, universities, researchers and industry leaders.
A major step forward in strengthening regional cooperation and building a more secure and connected Eastern Mediterranean.
Heartbreaking. I watched it once. Then I watched it again. And each time, my body hurt and my heart broke.
Four young women in Kabul were run over by Taliban forces after attending an educational seminar.
Nobody knows whether they are alive or not. Just think about that.
These women were were not doing anything wrong. They were learning.
Simple act of seeking education can become a life-threatening risk.
I received this video from a woman of Afghanistan with a simply message: “please use your platform and tell the world that they are killing us here, we are tired of Taliban. please don’t let the world forget Afghan women. we are fed up with Taliban. Enough is enough”.
Prime Minister Carney is failing Canada’s Jewish community while Jews are being targeted.
@POTUS@realDonaldTrump should offer asylum to Canada’s 400,000 Jews: peaceful, English-speaking, highly educated, and hardworking citizens who would be an enormous asset to America.
BREAKING: Author of U.N. report placing Israel on sexual violence blacklist admits she has not personally viewed any evidence. “I made it clear to Israel I would not visit any detention facility, even if offered. It's not the responsibility of my office to do any verification.”
For 22 years, I was brainwashed to hate Israel. The society around me taught me that Jews were the problem with everything and that they were evil.
Then October 7th happened, and it completely changed my perspective on Israel. I saw videos of Hamas terrorists entering Israel, killing 1,200 civilians, and kidnapping 251 hostages. After that, I learned about Israel’s history and how it is the only Jewish country in the world. I discovered that the Jewish people have been fighting for 7 decades just to protect their culture and identity.
In late November 2023, I started using TikTok. I began making Jewish friends to discuss the conflict with them and to ask whether they consider themselves superior to others, as I had been told by the society here. To my surprise, all of them were kind and humble. Since then, I have become a Zionist and have continued advocating for the Jewish people across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok).
I use these platforms to advocate for the Jewish people, to debunk the lies they have been taught about Jews and Israel, and to show the world how Israel is on the front lines protecting civilization from the biggest threat of our time radical Islam.
Through my content, I explain the true history of the conflict, expose the propaganda that has poisoned minds for generations, and highlight the values that Israel stands for: democracy, freedom, and human rights. I also share stories of Jewish resilience and innovation that demonstrate how this tiny nation contributes so much to the world in science, medicine, technology, and security.
Most importantly, I urge people to think critically and question the one-sided narratives they grew up with. After being brainwashed for 22 years myself, I now feel it is my responsibility to speak the truth and stand against hatred and ignorance.
So this is my little story about how I became an Zionist, you are free to ask questions :)
@EricDLombardi …now I’m considering moving my company to the US. And this isn’t just me, there are many others like me who have great ideas and potential, but can’t get funded.
@EricDLombardi That’s the right mindset, but the problem is there is no funding here! I founded a medtech company (in Canada) with IP, global scale, and the potential to create hundreds of jobs. But nobody wants to invest. The moment I turned to the US I managed to find plenty of capital.
@MarkJCarney@MohamedBinZayed Shut up.
You don't speak for us. You're a traitor who supports the CCP, which is helping the IRGC kill Iranians, over the USA and Israel which are helping Iranians. We don't want diplomacy with Islamic terrorists. We want them destroyed.
Just shut up and stay out of it.
