Joint Statement by the Embassies of Australia, Finland, France, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America in Nepal:
We are deeply saddened by the violence seen in Kathmandu and elsewhere in Nepal today, including the tragic loss of life and injury during demonstrations. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims, all those affected, and wish those injured a swift and full recovery.
Our governments reaffirm our strong support for the universal rights of peaceful assembly and freedom of expression. We urge all parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoid further escalation, and ensure that these fundamental rights are protected.

UNICEF is deeply alarmed by reports of violence against children during today’s protests in Nepal. The use of force against children is unacceptable and must stop immediately.
Wannabe dicktators think that killing citizens will save them; but often it goes the other way.
The images coming from Nepal are horrific, the Govt crackdown barbaric.
Young protestors have once again shown that tolerance to corruption & authoritarian rule has limits....once the dam of anger bursts, there is no telling who gets swept away.
Here's wishing that Nepal fights the darkness to bring in light & freedom.
#Nepal: We are shocked by the killings and injury of protesters today and urge a prompt and transparent investigation.
We have received several deeply worrying allegations of unnecessary or disproportionate use of force by security forces during protests organized by youth groups demonstrating against corruption and the recent Government ban on social media platforms.
We call on the authorities to respect and ensure the rights of peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.
All security forces must comply with the basic principles on the use of force and firearms by law enforcement officials.
Nepal enjoys a lively democracy and active civic space, and dialogue is the best means to address young people’s concerns. We urge reconsideration of measures to regulate social media to ensure they comply with Nepal’s human rights obligations.

Iran’s nuclear programme is a grave threat to international security, and Canada has been consistently clear that Iran can never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon.
While U.S. military action taken last night was designed to alleviate that threat, the situation in the Middle East remains highly volatile. Stability in the region is a priority.
Canada calls on parties to return immediately to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis. As G7 leaders agreed in Kananaskis, the resolution of the Iranian crisis should lead to a broader de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in Gaza.
Canada has been consistent and clear that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons as they are a threat to international security. Canada continues to support all efforts aimed at de-escalation, protecting civilian lives, and restoring stability through diplomacy.

Hello, it’s been 12 days since I submitted a form to connect with customer service. I understand the volume might be high, but shouldn’t the response time be reasonable? Am I missing something here?
@gunsnrosesgirl3 From first argument,
bat + ball = 110 ( equation 1)
Now, from second argument,
bat = ball + 100 ( as bat cost 100 dollars more than ball, equation 2)
substitute the value of bat from eq2 to eq 1.
So,
ball + 100 + ball = 110
2 ball + 100 = 110
2 ball = 110 - 100
ball = 5
If you accidentally call 911 and hang up, your call is still in the queue, causing longer wait times for others who need emergency help.
Don’t hang up – stay on the line and speak with the 911 operator.
Every second counts.
