@DeutscheBank — Stop Charging Customers for Your Own Failure

This needs immediate attention.

Despite having already informed Deutsche Bank that I have left Germany and provided this information to the bank, I continue to be charged €20 every month under the description:

“Kosten für Adressnachforschung wegen nicht zustellbarer Post.”

In simple terms, Deutsche Bank is charging me €20 for address research because mail could not be delivered — even though the bank has already been informed that I have left the country.

This raises a very serious question: Why should a customer be repeatedly charged for an address-search process that is being triggered because of the bank’s own inability or failure to update its records?

Continuing to deduct €20 every month after being explicitly informed of my departure is, in my view, unlawful, unfair and fundamentally unethical.

A bank should not be able to turn its own administrative failure into a recurring source of revenue from a customer.

I expect Deutsche Bank to:

1. Immediately stop these recurring €20 deductions.

2. Refund all amounts already deducted for this purpose.

3. Explain why these charges continued despite being informed that I had left Germany.

4. Confirm in writing that no further such charges will be imposed.

This is not about €20. It is about basic fairness, transparency and accountability in banking.

I am sharing this publicly because customers should not have to repeatedly fight to stop charges arising from circumstances that are not of their making.

Deutsche Bank — please address this matter properly and transparently.
