@drew6ix2w0 you are all just pressed because filipinos are in the spotlight of this discourse. under different circumstances, like other races doing or dancing black culture (especially white people), you are all clapping or saying nothing.
di gets ng kausap nito ang point huhu. di kasi explicitly taught sa school ng ph yung history ng black and their oppression—maybe sa new curriculums. mainly, nagiging aware ang pinoy through the internet, films, and books pero di lahat may access nito.
@drew6ix2w0 the average Filipino has no knowledge about the oppression on Black people, and since it is not highlighted in our educational system it becomes an Optional thing to learn about.
bat niyo ba pinipilit kung ano dapat gawin ng mga pinoy o ano dapat ang alam na nila? nandiyan pa rin ugali niyo na colonizers sa pamimilit sa amin. lately no nagma-manifest yung mga racist against pinoy. we’ve come a long a way pero di parin pala tapos ang laban.
huh??? knowing and speaking in english doesn’t mean na aaralin namin ang ibang culture/history kasi we mainly use it for communication. bold of you to assume na speaking in english will make us successful. kingina di nga lahat may opportunity to have education.
@mschvuz The highly educated and tourist areas speak English.
Any parent that has a plan for the kid to be highly successful would have them learn English.
Hard to be take this as an excuse.
English is the number one language
