We've moved our mobile biochar operation to Polk Countayyy #863. Share and tag some peeps who would be interested in coming to our site and taking home some of Florida's first #biochar for #water and #soil nature based solutions!
USDA is as confused as ever and our #industrialhemp grant application has slim chances of getting reviewed (let alone awarded). The offices staff responsible for reviewing the application went from 100 members, to 2 members. Not sure where to go next to help Florida go hemp
Mr. Farr is the exact type of spokesperson the hemp industry needs. Using Hemp for Biochar, cleaning water, paper, hemp-Crete ,reusing old citrus farmland,etc. This is what the industry should be using hemp for.
Not intoxicating untested hemp products sold in every smoke shop in the state. We should have Cannabis and Hemp on the same rules when it comes to intoxicating, they are the same plant $MSOS
@michellesalzman@rondesantis
@V_arrell We are very fortunate to have excellent relationships with some amazing universities and partners. Hope to provide some more updates very soon
It was a privilege to speak on the hemp panel this morning at the Capitol. Small steps lead to generational impact. Thank you @michellesalzman for leading such a great discussion

It’s crazy because I’ve been saying we can do this for a year now. Fortunately a relationship with the NCERC is going to bring a SAF pilot plant factory to Florida once everything shakes out after the election (hopefully?)
Hemp = SAF fuel
Pyrolysis = SAF fuel
Creating SAF fuel isn’t the challenge. The challenge is getting everyone motivated from start, through permitting, through infrastructure development, through the internal drama, through the Fed’s 5000000 year timeframe for approval
Applied for a grant through the FAA to build a revolutionary SAF blending and storage facility at our airport. Imagine fuel being grown and processed and put into a plane, without leaving a 5 mile radius
Growing Carinata (a mustard seed) for sustainable aviation fuel. We can expect a 68% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to petroleum counterparts
@Hawkins4florida Looking forward to connecting upon your arrival, @Hawkins4florida! You have huge shoes to fill (Dr. Leitzel moved mountains for SFSC to become such a successful institution). With the team at SFSC, I’m confident you’ll be able to continue to build!
