“Stop saying the governor doesn’t pick your call. Am I your receptionist? Who are you that I should pick your call. It is even an insult to say I’m not picking your calls.”
— Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno Replies Critic.
All primitive spirituality understands one thing: blood is currency.
From the blood of animals to the horror of human sacrifice, blood has been treated as a tradable commodity underwriting spiritual transactions and ritual praxis. Blood sealed covenants. Blood triggered demands. Blood activated altars. Blood created prices, ransoms, cycles, and periodic settlements.
Some obligations were structured to recur every generation. Some were front-loaded with future claims embedded within them.
That is how a debenture stock system is created in the spirit.
A lineage becomes collateral.
A generation becomes guarantor for covenants they never signed.
Outstanding obligations are assumed to exist. Ransoms are presumed unpaid. Demands are periodically enforced.
Primitive systems operate like spiritual loan agreements with compounding interest.
And here is the terrifying assumption behind them: That blood once offered cannot be outbid.
But heaven interrupted the market.
God did not argue with the system. He did not negotiate within its limits. He introduced another kind of blood.
The precious blood of the Lamb.
Not animal blood. Not tribal blood. Not ancestral blood. Not negotiated blood.
Incomparably priced blood.
Scripture does not whisper this. It roars it.
“How much more shall the blood of Christ…”
That phrase dismantles every competing ledger.
How much more.
Not equal to. Not balancing. Not offsetting.
Much more.
God did not merely match outstanding spiritual obligations. He overpaid.
He did not merely clear arrears. He closed the system.
He did not merely renegotiate terms. He abolished the contract.
It is called dealing with every handwriting of ordinances that was against us.
Every written demand. Every covenant clause. Every ritual invoice. Every ancestral debenture instrument. Every spiritual IOU.
Taken out of the way.
Not managed. Not suspended. Not restructured.
Taken out of the way.
And in the same act, the powers that enforced those demands were spoiled.
Principalities that specialised in collection. Powers that administered ransom cycles. Spiritual enforcement agencies that trafficked in blood-priced obligations.
Disarmed.
Publicly exposed.
Triumphed over.
The blood of Jesus did not enter the primitive market as another participant.
It collapsed the market.
Because its value is not determined by ritual. Its worth is not set by altar. Its price is not negotiable.
It is the blood of the Son.
And when that blood was offered, God undertook the most comprehensive accounting ever executed.
All loans settled. All ransoms paid. All demands absorbed. All ordinances cancelled. All cycles terminated.
Not because they were imaginary.
But because they were overpowered.
This is not denial of spiritual claims.
It is their decisive settlement.
Redemption does not pretend there were no outstanding obligations. Redemption declares that they have been more than satisfied.
How much more.
If inferior blood could bind, how much more can superior blood liberate.
If primitive covenants could enforce, how much more can eternal covenant establish freedom.
If old systems could claim, how much more can the finished work silence.
The issue is not whether blood speaks.
It is which blood speaks louder.
And the blood of Jesus speaks better things.
Much more.
Louder.
Final.
Finished.
'Spiritual.warfare' begins with first believing the above...
About playing Cristiano Ronaldo in the Sporting CP vs Manchester United match in 2003:
Fernando Santos:
“Unfortunately, I played him in the opening match and then he left.
I remember telling him at the time that, with his talent and determination, he would become the best player in the world.
That was a great source of pride for me and a few years later, he became the best in the world.”
Just In: President Tinubu has suspended National Social Investment Programmes
In the wake of investigation of alleged malfeasance in the management of the agency and its programmes.
The 4 Programmes affected are ones administered by NSIPA, which are N- Power Programme, Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme and Home Grown School Feeding Programme. The suspension will be for a period of six (6) weeks in the first instance.
The Presidency says President Tinubu has also raised significant concerns regarding operational lapses and improprieties surrounding payments to the Programs' beneficiaries and has constituted a ministerial panel to conduct a thorough review of the Agency's operations with a view to recommending necessary reforms of the NSIPA.
