@oscabriel@hankgreen@amorriscode Within 2 - 3 years these concepts will almost completely merge and the distinction will collapse. The agents will be too good at too many things that even a beginner can just say whatever and get good, clean results.
@trouble_man90 He's genuinely a generationally talented politician. He's got the juice, the sauce, the "it" factor. If he were eligible for the presidency he'd probably eventually win.
@xor_a_b@somewheresy I 100% believe everyone should be using them as a get-slim-quick scheme (if they in fact are not currently slim). If they're anorexic and already thin then yeah that'd be bad, but for all other cases, you are a regressive luddite cishuman crank. Genuinely.
@mpanetta1989@Aethelcynd@atlanticesque It's up to you what to do with that inevitability.
IMO it won't count as art if it's just a short prompt and if the AI is not sentient. A sentient AI autonomously creating images might be making art.
@mpanetta1989@Aethelcynd@atlanticesque The AI is creating the image. Whether or not one might consider it "art", probably within 5 years a huge percentage will be indistinguishable from human-made images *and* will look artful, tasteful, high-quality, creative, and aesthetically pleasing to the average human.
@JoeParadise9@majorityfm 6 Democrats - 2% of Democrats in the House - voted yes.
98% of the Democrats voting in the way you want means the Democratic party is wholly irredeemable and beyond reform? What if it were 99%?
@marc0v0@Jason_Opines@CanadianPolling Can you explain how Norway funds its social programs with 3rd world labor
Please reply. I'll wait for your reply.
@mathepi@samschech@bobmcmillan You have no clue what you're talking about
It is definitely true HF and other companies should be granted access to the less-guardrailed models (the cybersecurity program OAI/Anthropic already have) so they don't need to rely on open models for this, but that's a separate matter
@HalfSourFullJew@shadihamid I think Israel's actions will, in decades from now, be considered by a consensus of historians to be genocidal, but of a mixed nature. It is debatable if "genocide" *ought to* contain tiers since some may feel it dilutes the term, but language is descriptive, not prescriptive.
This is not a good argument. The correct and real answer here is Israel's actions lie somewhere between "Class A genocide" and "many atrocities, war crimes, and insufficient regard for the sanctity of civilian life". (Where a "Class A genocide" would be the Nazi SS attempting to kill every Jew in Europe/probably eventually the world.)
@skooookum It's interesting how that open mouth expression does not actually mean a dog is necessarily smiling/happy and yet you can still totally tell this dog is definitely happy here
@Holofech@LinkofSunshine This is exactly my reaction. To anyone who isn't already pretty rich this would also generally be the reaction.
Assuming it's a one chance ever thing, I think I would take the 50k here. The EV is not the right way to look at it
@bornposting There is a serious chance that literally 10 years after the rename everyone will still call it Twitter while Elon will still keep calling it X
@YourAnonCentral If it helps Ukraine get more funding and military support, I'll take it and support it (though I will hate Tim Pool forever on everything else; also he's probably going to switch up on this within a month or two)
