Ex Farmer & current father of 3. Believer in regen ag & getting shit out of food. Weather tragic. Keen lure flicker and fox shooter but no time to do it.
Three Australian politicians are currently complaining about misogyny & sexism. But -
@JacintaAllanMP, the Victorian Labor premier, has men in women’s prisons, school girls not drinking water and women punished for not accepting men as women.
@AlboMP, the Australian prime minister, has called the destruction of women’s rights a “culture war”, ignoring pleas to ensure women have rights & protections in federal legislation.
@JuliaGillard, during her time as the first women prime minister, removed the definition of women from war, igniting the “culture war”.
Calling out misogyny & sexism when it impacts you while ignoring Australian women & girls who are experiencing ideological & institutional misogyny & sexism on a daily basis is not a good look and it simply highlights the hypocrisy. It confirms our suspicion that you only care about yourselves.
If you’re going to cry misogyny & sexism, first make sure that you’re not a perpetrator of it.
@mc19579758@Markyles Seriously? Gencost is NOT ALLOWED to look for other alternatives to renewable energy! FFS @FootnotesGuy has all of this clearly pointed out! Follow him, read his stuff and then comment.
@Markyles Someone who will do anything to bring people into submission. They use personality politics, political correctness,
Propaganda, guilt, fear….anything to assert control over others for their own benefit
@iL1keTurtles@Markyles FFS…..Leading by good example is for training kids. China has used it to gain influence and power over idiotic politicians and the people who support them.
@reject_them@Markyles The per person argument is a desperate argument developed because of the rise of developing nations emissions. If this was actually a real threat any emissions would be bad. Piss off with your communist bullshit
🚨🇬🇧 Meanwhile today across the UK
Brits are visiting their local Police Stations to take the knee for Henry Nowak.
Not one UK Officer has bent the knee yet that’s been recorded - the same Police Officers that bent the knee every day for career criminal George Floyd.
Chris Uhlmann on Pauline Hanson as Martin Luther:
"Anyone who objects is gaslit as starting a culture war when they are simply returning fire. The war began when institutions set about redefining long-settled understandings of sex, identity and nation without seeking public consent.
No one was asked. No one got a vote. One day, Australians were told that a man could become a woman, that three flags were better than one, that our history was shameful, and that disagreement was a hate crime.
But the culture wars are only one front in a far larger war. The deeper problem is a state that grows relentlessly while the private economy that sustains it struggles under its weight. More taxes beget more officials and more agencies that impose more rules, regulations and interference.
Eventually people begin to ask a dangerous question: who exactly is serving whom? If the purpose of government is to serve the people, why does it increasingly feel as though the people exist to serve the government?
And if the only way to get change is to start a revolution, then dangerous choices begin to look rational."
Oh, Simon @SimonBanksHB the knob polishing Canberra suit who’s spent decades whispering sweet nothings to Labor governments, dropping another masterclass in selective amnesia.
“Move to New Zealand! Pay higher taxes! Lower living standards! Higher unemployment! Lower services!” cries the guy whose entire career is built on helping big players navigate Australia’s increasingly hostile tax-and-spend machine. Mate, the irony is so thick you could spread it on your next taxpayer-funded briefing.
Let’s play your game with actual facts instead of partisan fanfic:
• Taxes: NZ has no comprehensive CGT. Australia does, and Labor’s been itching to expand it further. Kiwis laugh at your “wrecking ball” warnings because they’ve watched Australia tax productive investment while pretending it’s only hitting “the rich.” NZ taxes from dollar one but spares the gains that actually build wealth. Australia? Tax the wage slave, tax the gain, tax the super, tax the air you breathe.
• Living standards & services: Australia’s median wages are higher, sure, partly because we import cheap labor and inflate housing. But NZ consistently ranks higher on actual quality-of-life indexes (safety, work-life balance, corruption perception). Your “lower services” line is cute coming from the country where NDIS is a black hole, aged care is a national disgrace, and hospitals have waiting lists longer than Simon’s client list.

• Migration: Yes, some Kiwis head to Oz for cash. Plenty of Aussies (and capital) eye NZ precisely because it’s not run like a giant welfare ATM with a CGT bat attached. Record numbers? Selective stat, champ. Net flows swing both ways depending on cycles, and right now, people are fleeing your beloved government’s cost-of-living carnage.
The real punchline? Simon Banks professional defender of the Canberra blob, virtue-signaling against a country whose PM correctly calls CGT a wrecking ball.
Of course you’re triggered, your whole ecosystem relies on governments picking winners, distorting markets, and then hiring firms like Hawker Britton to “manage” the damage.
Of course you’re out here gaslighting everyone into thinking Australia’s bloated tax regime is some economic masterpiece. Meanwhile, productive people are looking across the ditch at a place that doesn’t treat capital gains like a sin tax and thinking: “Yeah… why wouldn’t we?”
You are a farking hack and a lifelong Labor apparatchik turned professional Canberra rent-seeker, Chief of Staff to multiple failed leaders, now CEO of the ALP’s favourite lobbying machine, cashing fat cheques to defend the very tax-and-spend machine that’s choking Australia.
Farking retard!!
