Texas Man Shot Partner 15 Times in Front of Their Toddler After Accusing Her of Cheating

Prosecutors say 30 year old Brandon Dickerson opened fire on 23 year old Alexis Walls inside their Bryan, Texas home while their 18 month old son was just feet away.

Dickerson told investigators he grabbed a rifle and shot Walls after accusing her of cheating and insisting she was being unfaithful. He later called 911 and said he had killed the mother of his child, according to court records.

Police arrived around 12:40 a.m. and found Walls dead and the couple’s toddler still inside the house. Investigators later documented 15 gunshot wounds.

Dickerson pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Prosecutors described Walls as “a loving mother” and said her young son is now being raised by her parents.
