@MarcHeathym007 @nethergongcampi @ArjunDutta230@ELBF2010@gibbard_crisis @BarryWright12 @perilsofbirding To me it sounds like a Dotterel! They do vary a bit and it’s higher pitched than most I’ve recorded but I recorded a group flying in France one autumn and one was this high.

All the Dotterel I’ve heard in flight (2 diurnal, 3 on nocmig) have uttered this or very similar repeatedly. I don’t see why they shouldn’t do single calls though.
