Those that are new to ed tech need to find apps/programs that work best for them and stick with them. If they like it and are comfortable with it, they will use it more. There is so much out there, teachers don't have to use them ALL.

Schools need to start with the basics when preparing students for technology, then introduce them to more, a little bit at a time. Also, schools need to make sure all their teachers are comfortable using the technology themselves.

I would like to be shown how to use apps with my students (like grading assignments), or for a particular lesson. Sometimes instruction given by tech support is too vague.
The best support I've received was directly from our Tech guy when he answered my ??s.

I am teaching at a different building next year, so I am going to make sure they are all aware of the Classroom App. Teachers use this to see that all students are where they are supposed to be on their ipads.
