A2: I'm just a substitute. OPS email/website/etc. is hard(at least for me) to navigate. I woud like them to "curate" their website into something simpler and to the point. It will be interesting as a sub to see how this changing tech will change my job. #tldeuno2021

@BirkholtzB I'm ccertified in Art K-12, so I can sub for any class/any grade. I've done everything from 2nd Grade homeroom teacher to high school shop and geometry classes - which were both surreal.

A1: Sketchbook and Canva. Sketch book is great for quick slides and Canva is great for presentations as well as other assignments like essays. #tldeuno2021

wrap up: I think that in the future there will be less of a divide between online class (that use ed tech) and realtime classes. The two modes will eventually merge together into a hybrid model. #TLDEUNO2021

A3: It must be platform agnostic and asynchronous, where students do not need to be logged in and the teacher is in in control. Flexibility is key. It also helps if the ed tech tool is FREE. It should also be robust… used often and does not break down. #TLDEUNO2021

A2: Favorite ed tech tool is AutoDesk Sketchbook. I like it because it functions similar to an easy-to-use Adobe Photoshop. Students like drawing and doing projects on electronics, so this tech ed tool will help engage students in class. #TLDEUNO2021

@Mrs_Wheeler_ Yes and no. It's usually a dumbed down version of a lesson plan and basic computer stuff. Usually not much technology involved except for projectors, smartboards, etc. Most teachers go pretty easy on subs + technology.

A1: Ed tech is tech used for education. What tools do I need in an Art classroom besides art supplies to to get my point cross? Ed Tech helps answer that question. I can incorporate ed tech into what I'm already doing and be more effective. #TLDEUNO2021

WrapUp: I can see how Twitter could be useful in education by learning new things and sharing information amongst teachers, administration, etc., but it seems like it would not work 100% unless every single person had a Twitter account and followed it closely. #tldeuno2021

There are many people just like me who do not enjoy looking at a screen. I really do see how Twitter can be useful in the educational realm, but at the same time it is just one more app to stare at and waste time sifting through tweets/posts/etc. that are not helpful or relevant.

A3: #literacy. It is my favorite because literacy spans all subject areas and should be incorporated into every lesson plan if possible. I am new to Twitter, but have found interesting material using that hashtag. #tldeuno2021

I also always considered Twitter a political Thunderdome. I stayed away from Twitter because FB was negative enough. It has changed my thinking because now I see that there is a wealth of educational material, not just political rants.

A2: I am still getting used to all of the hash tags and putting “@“ in front of everything. Twitter does seem like a great way to find new information. Twitter is cool, but I am a long way from becoming a black-belt. I still don’t understand most of it. #tldeuno2021
