@DeanTTraining If someone is training legs 2X a week, would you run the same thing again or tweek the second day? I noticed you’re not a fan of quad/ham split
I think letting any of these two go is a mistake. Roy has many things that the Avs lineups have missed in past years.
Jaco playin hardball with his contract makes Roy more attractive to keep.
I don't think both of these centers are on the Avs next season.
Similar production. Roy is bigger (5 inches taller). Drury is younger (by 3 years).
Which one stays and which one goes? 🤷♀️

Michael McCarron, signed 6x$3.3M by MIN, is a big defence-first depth centre who wins faceoffs and hits. Extremely lacking in puck skills and pretty much provides offence solely by crashing the net. #MNWild
- new pp coach
- Ross, Val, possibly Drury trades
- Resign Kulak
- Fill in holes with Grit and size.
- Ensure Brindley, Bardakov continue progressing. Their age and contracts can be a strength if they continue developing
7. We can no longer be one dimensional. Team’s have caught on to speed and offense. This team, via trades, signings, or mindset shift need to add another dimension. They showed it in the Wild series. But we can no longer ONLY be the fast, great skating team. No more.

After a night of rest, my thoughts heading into the off season:
1. I would understand a coaching change (definitely Hakstol), I just don’t see a CLEAR upgrade.
2. Limited cap space. We should mentally prepare to run it back with a good amount of players from this year.
6. I understand the team’s process of using their speed, run and gun type of play, but you also cannot be a slave to your process.
Adjustments need to be made. While I think Bednar is a good coach, he’s stubborn with adjustments. That cost us. If that cost him his job, I get it
Emotions are high.
What a sour end to a phenomenal regular season. I don’t know what happens next, but wow. No words for how the team played this series.
Truly speechless.

I’ve appreciated this guys positivity and support during this abysmal series, but at some point you have to face reality, and the Avs were horrid. Injuries. Bad refs. What have you.
VGK played like they wanted it more. It showed.
It’s a great point. I think part of it is the season just doesn’t matter. Like just get in the playoffs. Yes you want to win and play really well and consistent. And I’m not saying the season meant so much to the Avs, but there’s something to be said about just feeling like you’re peaking at the right time
