@UKLabour Growth is a smoke screen for decline. Empowering communities to prepare for further decline is up to local leaders not national politics painting broad, vague brush strokes. Communities are stronger than regurgitated policies.
@MikeB2023 Have a look at UK economic growth for the last twenty years. Flat!!! Austerity is government’s favourite toy. Printing money doesn’t work. Someone somewhere is getting very wealthy though. Blame government all you like, also blame the mega rich.
@rustyrockets An ‘infrastructure of men’. Masculinity with no other identity other than a collective, male, gang, intimidation with repeated rhetoric off the back of exaggerated claims. An inevitable consequence of a traumatised population working longer hours, less family time etc, etc…
@Councillorsuzie What price can we put on joy, music and specifically creativity? Communities thrive when they have the freedom to do so. The arrests are most likely the symptom of a much wider community, economic breakdown where freedoms are greatly restricted.
@ZiaYusufUK Apologies if someone has mentioned this already, Singapore imports about 40% of its water from Malaysia. Please remind us how Reform is going to make it rain.
@owenjonesjourno Good question Owen. Carrying on as normal in the face of an existential crisis. It’s like a Hollywood film, except it’s not a Hollywood film. Bewildering.
@EliotJacobson The bbc climate journalist is nothing but enthusiastic about reporting and loves to refer to ‘the future’. I feel a gap in the market for a climate news newspaper, we’ll name it : We Are Fucked.
It's odd living in a world where people don't prioritise existence, despite so many of us claiming to care about ourselves, our families, our countries, or some higher purpose. #deepadaptation
@EliotJacobson In England from what I can tell people are not learning how to grow their own veg, they are spending time online buying AC units. Very worrying times here. Thanks for your work 👍
