Made my way to Spanish Harlem to join the Latin American Council of the Pentecostal Church of God for their 70th International General Assembly.
The faithful of this church are strong in their unity and they made me feel welcome during my time with them today.
Today our Hearts are Heavy and our spirits or down but not broken. On the news of the resignation of the Hon. Commissioner Edward Caban. A man of Integrity and Kindness who always but others before himself. He was never self centered, but always unselfish in serving others.
@NYPDPC Eddie Caban, was a symbol of the Puerto Rican and Hispanic Community. As a “Puertorriqueño” I am very disappointed with his resignation and pray that this,is as far, negatively speaking, that goes for him.@SquarePegDem https://t.co/iUe1pV3U9i
God always Bless and Shelter America. We remember those lost on 911 and honor those who Have survived them. May the Lord give them strengh and comfort on this solemn day.
To a Man who always shows Professionalism and Respect, has a kind heart and epitomizes Hispanic Pride. The Entire community of Hispanic Bishops of New York wish the Honorable Commissioner A Very Happy Birthday.

Violence should never have a place in our political process. No matter if you are a democrat, republican or independent violence should be condemned by everyone.
As Clergy we pray for our nation, for peace and civility to reign.

Proud to announce alongside @NYCSpeakerAdams that we are fully restoring funding to our libraries and cultural institutions in the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget.
These institutions are a critical part of New York City’s social fabric, which New Yorkers depend on for their children’s growth and the vibrancy of our city.

Last night, thanks to the tireless efforts of our Detective Bureau, a violent criminal was taken off our streets.
I want to thank the dedicated investigators who worked around the clock to make an arrest in this case. I also want to thank the media for spreading the word. And I especially want to thank New Yorkers for helping us get the job done.
Our city was united in seeking justice for these victims, and our streets are safer today because of work we do, together.
Incredibly grateful to see these two hero partners both heading home this morning to the cheers of their @NYPD115Pct brothers and sisters, just hours after being shot. Thank you Elmhurst Hospital’s nurses, doctors and staff for putting our brothers on the road to recovery.
In the early morning hours Sunday, while most of us slept, NYPD officers confronted an armed and dangerous individual. First Responders will always be willing to put themselves in harm’s way so that others may be safe, as these brave officers did last night.
