Even Margaret Thatcher, the longest serving PM in the 20th century and most powerful woman in the United Kingdom and the world, never had a chef in her employ while in power. She cooked every meal for her family.

According to her nanny, "she was ultra-effivient at home to the point you can't fault her." Thatcher made it a point of duty to sort her husband's food and clothes. This is not a question of poverty as some people like to use money to make argument. She was the most powerful woman in the world and would have had many helps if she wanted. Also, her husband was born rich and was a millionaire.

She was excelling at home and at work. But today, people can't turn eba because of online class or GT Bank job and can't boil rice for their family without talking about trauma.

It was probably one of the reasons she was hated because she never used her femininity as excuse and even worse, she was very efficient in all these. She made people know she was first a wife and mother.
